What Our Clients Say..

We would like to express our gratitude to Kenny Burke and the build team from SCB for delivering our beautiful family home well within the estimated timeframe and budget. The renovation and rebuilding process was extensive, and we could not have been happier with the result.
Kenny was very professional, organised, and knowledgeable.

He continuously cared about the project, going above and beyond our expectations. The attention to detail that was used when building our house was second to none, and it is evident that everything was done with care and precision. The finishes are of a high standard, and we are impressed with the quality of the work.

When re-engineering due to our old and failing subfloor became necessary, Kenny’s professional input meant that we ended up with a more solid house. He quickly resolved additional minor hiccups caused by a draftsman error without affecting the project or us.

It was an easy decision to choose SCB.
We were impressed with Kenny’s responsiveness, obvious talent for organising and managing, his reliability, his listening skills, and how easy he was to deal with.
We had also seen photos of several of his previous projects on social media, and we were impressed by the quality of his and his team’s work.

Kenny has good relationships with various local trades that take pride in their work, which is reflected in the high level of craftsmanship that was delivered in our finished product. We are grateful that Kenny was patient with us when we approached him with a few variations along the way. His suggestions were always on point and much appreciated.

It’s always great to work with professionals who take pride in their work and deliver quality results. We highly recommend Kenny and his team to anyone looking for a smooth and easy building process with wonderful results.

Adam & Ayscha

Kenny and his team are nothing short of professional. Their attention to detail is incredible and resulted in a deck built with precision gaps.

His after install support is fantastic with great recommendations on aftercare products and techniques.

Don’t think about it, if you want to build something, just call these guys. They’d rather you have all the facts and do it right the first time.

James W

We had a difficult balcony renovation.
Kenny from Surfcoast Building did an amazing job planning, managing and building our project.
We are very happy with the work and the result.

Doris & Burkhard

We have owned 10 houses over the years. Renovations, rebuilds and Alfresco areas.

None were as beautifully crafted and lasted like the ones that SCB created for us.

We have had Kenny and his team back 3 times now for all of our decks, alfresco areas & studio build.

Now he is extending our pool area in a beautiful blackbutt timber that looks lovely.

Jacqueline B

My main concern was ‘am I getting value?’

SCB gave me an upfront figure that didn’t magically grow as the job proceeded.

I was most impressed with the cost, professionalism and quality.

I got more than value I can’t recommend SCB more highly.

Gav B

We are so pleased with the work Kenny has done for us. The deck looks amazing and is exactly what we asked for. Kenny made the whole process from first contact to completion easy and hassle free. His help and advice was greatly appreciated. We would highly recommend and use again.

Emma T

Kenny’s workmanship is outstanding and his attention to detail was appreciated.

Kenny made handy suggestions to ensure our outdoor area was as well designed and practical as possible.

His communication was fast and efficient with everything done by the book including permits, design plans and receipts.

He also happens to be a good guy.

We couldn’t recommend Kenny enough and the comments from other tradies on his finished product says it all.

Thanks mate

Chris S

What can I say, if you are looking for a builder that is honest, hard working and always does what he says Kenny is the builder for you. Thank you Kenny for a great job and fantastic customer service!

We would recommend Kenny to anyone looking for a builder that is true to their word.

Adam and Kate

Kenny was very helpful with the plan for our new deck project, suggesting many good improvement ideas and in building providing excellent workmanship. What was equally impressive was that even though he was obviously busy on many other jobs, the forecast start date was met to the day 5 months later, and the whole project completed in very good time to suit our deadlines, much appreciated. The finished deck looks great and we are very pleased that we chose Kenny to build it.

David & Joy

We are really impressed with the outdoor area Kenny did for us, he went far beyond expectation & assisted us & managed our permits.

He made liaising with all involved a dream. The final product is amazing & everything we wanted, couldn’t recommend Kenny enough
